I love this tiny flash. Easy to carry and powerful enough for perfect bounce. No shadows.. No harsh skin... No blown-out shots. Initially I purchased this for my G12 but now I use it with 60D also.

Canon 60D is a nice, cost effective mid-range DSLR. Adds an extra boost and confidence to shoot at difficult lighting situations. I confidently shoot at 5000 ISO. It shoot great HD videos. I made it s habit to make summary clips (But no AF during video shooting).

EF-S IS 18-200mm. Stable performance at full range of focal-length. IS works perfect (most of the time I get perfect shots even at 1/4Sec - handheld)

It has good weight. Makes it more stable at slow shutter speeds.

Looks great with a SUNPAK polarizer filter.

Canon 60D... Waiting for a lens to get attached.. and is ready to shoot.... shoot nice pictures.

Very handy positioning of controls.

Canon Powershot G12. My BEST companion. Sometimes it outperforms DSLR. 18-135mm wide-telephoto lens. Very fast lens (f/2.8). It has almost all features of a DSLR in a compact pocket-sized body. Only bad thing I noticed is that at high ISO, it adds tremendous noise.

32GB is a good choice as I shoot RAW (most of the time bracketed shots and I use high-speed multi-drive that clicks 5-6 times a second.. WOW.. amazing) Clicks almost 1100 at 18MP RAW.

Another SD makes me tempted to shoot more....!!!!!

Canon Speedlite 580EX is one of the most powerful flash in the speedlite series. Its high power is very much useful in getting a perfect bounce even in high roof indoors. I like the in -built catch light panel - which adds life to the photos. Powerful companion.

Along with Canon EOS, it can act as a Master with wireless capabilities or as a wireless slave. Here I have added advantage of in-built wireless transmitter of Canon EOS 60D. Perfect combination.

This tiny wireless remote makes it easy to trigger EOS remotely. (Only issue is that it should point to the sensor - makes it difficult to trigger form behind the camera)

Wonderful off-camera wired trigger makes it easy for steady portriats and BULB shots. I use it to shoot night scenes as well as fireworks. See them in other galleries.
